Sorry for the quality of the pics, but I was not going to unload all those back out of the book. LOL
There's like 12 more pages of this same style of all the other letters he received while in the Marines....
Thanks for looking!
That is amazing and awesome!
That is a wonderful gift!
that is awesome!!! I so wish I had something like that during my time in training and active duty. I've been out for 10 years and most are distant memories. So as someone who has served, I think that this album is just an amazing gift and a great preservation of this time in his life.

But a story to go along w/ this.......he was applying for a scholarship and needed all his documents from the marines to make copies of. I had already taped all of them down (even eyelet one down), only 1 was untouched b/c of the cover it came in. I had no idea that he'd need them (and I don't think he realized he'd need them too), it was really unplanned. He was so mad that I put tape on the original documents, yet he didn't ask me to make copies for him or make copies before he gave them to me. I also thought, since they are pretty much a keepsake item now, that it wouldn't matter how they were attached, but that it was nicely displayed. I had to peel all of those documents off, it was awful. I didn't tear anything, luckily, but left some creases here and there. The one page I eyelet, I had to give him the whole thing. LOL So his copy included little stars in the corner. LOL I sure hope he made extra copies just in case. I hope he likes it regardless!
