I was wondering the same thing. Do you just take scissors to the page or what?
oh I thought I had replied to that in the other thread ! I must have gotten sidetracked.
The only time i do it is if I use one piece for a border around the whole layout. I see where the top piece will lay and then I just put the paper on my mat and use my x-acto and just cut out a big chunk of the bottom piece. It ends up looking like this.
I do the same thing as Angie except that I cut a big chunk out using my paper trimmer before putting the other sheet of paper on top.
I measure where the paper will be covered up, and then I cut out a HUGE chunk of the middle with my paper trimmer (not the guillotine kind) before I stick anything down.

Wow!!!! I guess yall do that to save paper? I am rather happy to get rid of paper sometimes.

yes I do it to save paper. That one I posted had a small area I cut out, but usually its almost a whole sheet of cardstock minus a 1 inch border around the edges. Cardstock is expensive lol, so I can't make myself waste that much of it just for a 1 inch border. Especially now that I can use the piece I cut off with my cricut.
