Question How do you word journalling?

In your kid's scrapbooks do you journal "to" them or "about" them?

In Shaylynn's and Mason's Christmas albums I had printed (snapfish/shutterfly albums) I wrote to them like saying "you got such and such for Christmas" etc. Not sure if I should keep up that way, or write it more about them.

I write to them in their books. I like it that way. I think it will be nice and personal like a bunch of letters to them one day.

I also have a family book for pages that don't really fit in either of their books. I write that about the event and not to any of them.
