    Default how much?

I think I want to get the Expression. I really want to get into making vinyl wall decals, I have a few around our house that I bought and love them. I bought some vinyl, and have been doing some cuts on paper with what I would like to do for our walls but I just can't get big enough. I only have the baby bug. I am going to make a few smaller things with the vinyl I bought like birds, but I'm really bummed that that's all I can really do!

I need to have a plan of action before I bring it up to dh. I'd have to sell my machine first, so I can put that money towards it. How much should I ask for it, should I include a cartridge, and I'd get a new mat, too. If I include a cartridge I'd include George (never use it).

I have quite a few crafty friends on my facebook, I think I'd just post it there first.

On another note, those of you that have the Create ~
is there an option to 'flip' the image on there? Maybe the Create would be good enough.

    Thoughts?

the create has the flip feature and the portrait cut feature, but I know the size of the image is limited by the width of the mat when you use portrait, if that makes sense.

oh forgot to say, I sold my baby bug without george with a mat for 60. so you could get a good amount more if you include george.

That's what I was thinking w/the width of the Create's mat still being 6"

I am in the same boat at times. I feel limited with the baby bug, but we don't have the money. I would feel guilty telling Randall that too.

So I told dh my plan, and he's totally cool with it! As long as I sell mine, and wait for a good deal. Woohoo!!

So what should I ask for mine? Gently used, brand new mat included.

I would say without cartridge and then maybe sell the cart separate if you really don't want it. I sold mine with used mat and no cart for $60 and since George is a cart you can only get with the personal, there are a lot of expression owners who want it because they can't get it in stores. I would say list your Cricut at $70 and maybe bargain down to $60 and sell the cart for about $30. You might consider keeping the cart though because if you ever get DS, there are a lot of cut files that use George.

yeah I listed mine 75 OBO and it was a girl who was willing to come meet me very close to my house that offered 60. (the original offer that I lost contact with wanted to meet me an hour away) so i was happy to give up 15 bucks to drive 3 minutes instead of 1 hour

Thanks for the advice girls! Starting at $70-$75 sounds good, people always want to bargain with you (I hate that!!). I think I'll end up keeping George for the extra font.

I'm excited to get the Expression. I wish I was ready now, it's on custom crops right now on sale!!!
