I better get on it!

Well, I have about 9 weeks or so until Alex gets here. Since I can't go through his baby stuff until March (waiting on a dresser), I decided to make up the list of craft projects I wanted to get complete before he got here. Bad idea.

I need to do:
Wall hangings for T.J.'s room
Stars for Alex's room
Alex Door
My niece's 1st birthday gift album
Finish crocheting Alex's baby blanket (about 1/3 done)
And 23 events to scrapbook for T.J.'s 3rd album!!!!!

This doesn't even take into account any layouts I could technically start for Alex now like pregnancy and nursery. I've made myself do more 1 page layouts to help move it along but so far I can only come up with 8 of the 23 events being a possible one page. It just seems like everytime I get a block of time to scrap and such, something else comes up. I really should be doing my deep cleaning and stuff now because I am ridiculously slow but I can't focus on any one thing for very long without becoming overwhelmed with everything else. The few times I have managed to pull all my scrap stuff out I am just too exhausted to think.

I know there are a few other of us due pretty soon. How are you ladies doing with everything?

Wow. You are going to be very busy. Remember it doesn't all have to be done before he comes. It might be easier, but do what you can and that's all you can do! Biggrin

you sure have a lot going on. Wink my layout list (I keep an ongoing list so I can feel progress when I cross something off) has over 30 items on it. plus I have a bunch of sewing projects. being a mom is taking up too much time! ha ha ha

yep, you do have a lot on your list, can't wait to see what you get accomplished this week!

 You sound like me! Are you full of energy, or are you exhausted? The past few weeks, I have been exhausted, but I managed to clean, clean, clean.

Ok, as for the list- I hope you are able to get as much done as possible! We have a lot to do, but nothing is really scrap related. Bummer.

Its easy for me being that I have a bunch of time off right now and no kids other than the one coming in a few weeks. I scrap everything I can and then some. I feel bad for my future children because I really doubt I will be able to put this much time and energy into their books.

I am exhausted!!! I've been trying to stay caught up on the household list of to-do's but everything is taking so much longer than I thought it would. We've got the living done except for hanging pictures. I've got the kitchen done except for deciding on wall art. I've got T.J.'s room done except for wall art. Alex's room is already decorated I just need to unpack all the baby clothes and set up but I can't do that until we get a dresser. $$$ for dresser is not available until March. Sad So, right now I'm focusing on the craft list. I really need to get it done because T.J.'s birthday will be about 3 weeks after Alex gets here and I like to have his album done for the family that visits.

I've got tons of other cleaning lists and such but I will have a good day where I get a lot accomplished and then I can't move for 3 days after. Really cuts down on what I get done and honestly DH can't really do a lot of it because I'm too picky about certain things and he likes to take short cuts.

oh wow! I agree with Ashley and Carrie! Just do what you can. You are not supposed to be Super Woman in all things, so catch up what you and try not to (easier said than done right?) stress about the things you can't.

Awww, it sounds awful to have that list and know you have a limited amount of time. Plus, being pregnant probably slows you down so much. Ugh!
