I can't believe in 2 days

I did an entire scrapbook!!!! Yahoo Granted, it's an 8x8 but its still done. Smile

DH and I went to an Alabama game in Oct. and I wanted to make him a scrapbook. I attempted to make it "manly" so the embellishments are quite simple. I also made him a thank you card for buying me the best present ever!

I wasn't sure how to share so many pics so I put it in a slideshow. Is that the best way?

Oh, and a little background- my cousin and her DH live in Knoxville. She is a sports photographer for the newspaper and he is a sports writer. That is why I included pics and story titles in the LO's that they both did. We stayed with them and they drove us to the game and used their media pass so we didn't have to park in lower Egypt, hence the vehicle on one page!

TFL!

Love your titles on every page. Such creative wording and layout design. And the rain drops/umbrella made me smile. Smile GREAT JOB!

Very cool Kelly!! Do you think it's faster having the Cricut?? Tell me yes!! I have visions of it taking me FOREVER to do stuff cause I'll want to add this cut out or that cut out. Smile

Great work, I bet he'll cherish that forever.

I definitely think it's much quicker with the Cricut. I have a sizzix machine and a few dies and those take a lot longer. It's also SOOO much cheaper b/c I didn't really need embellishments.

Here's what I did: I planned my layouts on paper (I always do that in a big notebook). Then once I had my titles and cutouts that I wanted to use I cut everything out with the cricut. Then I just had to layer paper and glue them down! Viola!

I did the same thing for a christmas rush but since my cricut is down I only used papers. No embellishments on those scrapbooks. Actually I guess I did two and a half scrapbooks. I still haven't given my cousin hers. It's a rush to get it done that fast and I don't mean literally. I mean it's almost like a high, cause you just glue and go to the next page. No messing around, no time to change the layout. Figure out something and do it.

That is a great book! I think your DH will really appreciate it Smile I can't barely get a page done in two days, none the less an entire book.

That is awesome!!! My sister and her dh live in Knoxville, they took us to a UT game last October when we went down, it was like nothing I've experienced before - Football isn't nearly as popular here, I couldn't believe all the tailgating and the marching band - I've never seen anything like that, I didn't get any pictures though. I think I enjoyed halftime more than the game (although I believe they won it, we left early as I was not feeling well, and we had to fly home at 6 AM the next day - good thing too since it went to triple overtime). Seeing your album really brought back those memories - thanks! Smile

Oh, and I can't believe that you did that in 2 days!!!!

You sure have gotten great use out of your Cricut! I'm sure he will love it!

I can't believe you are a Bama fan in TN! DH is a HUGE Bama fan and I am always trying to find Bama scrapbooking embellishments. I've gotten a few cute ones of DS and DH watching football. For Christmas, DS got a Bama jersey. I can't wait to scrap him wearing it. My DH wanted to take DS to the game but I was too afraid. DH has had some close calls in Knoxville before.

We've had some close calls in the K'ville too! This year was the best game as far as people being polite to us. But then what have the VOLS to be cocky about this season? It's hard to find embellishments here, I found some in a scrapbook store in Pigeon forge once but not any where around here. I used the elephant on the new arrival cart. ROLL TIDE!!
