It's been months since I said I wanted to try it... so I bit the bullet and spent the $30 for the deep housing unit. I finally got around to trying it tonight... definetly a trial and error kind of thing! The fondant had to be rolled paper thin... let it sit for about 45 minutes... i didn't put enough fondant on the mat to do very much.... you'll see that I cut out some of the top of the ice cream cone and part of the spider's legs... ok.. here how it came out!
that looks good enough to eat.

Gwen's comment cracked me up! LOL
So you did that with your regular machine? Why would anyone buy the Cricut cake then? How cool is that?! I think doing the little hearts and flowers would save a lot of time! Think of your possibilities now.

I look forward to cutting other things and using them on my cakes. Tonight was just about playing and exploring.

How cool!!! I've been wanting to try and do it! I kept my personal when I got the expression so I could try it but I barely have time to keep up with laundry, let alone fun stuff!
