I made a dress (pic)

I haven't embroidered on it yet b/c its quite busy so I'm not sure how well something will show up on it. I went to the sewing store this morning and she showed me a way to sew the hem differently that is super easy.

I made another one too but I'm not finished with it. I'll share later.

Kelly, that turned out adorable!!! I'd love making clothes if I knew how to do it. I love using the sewing machines, even own one, but don't ask me to make any clothes! LOL

If you know how to sew a line, you can so make these. It's very simple. The boys rompers are a little more tricky b/c of the snaps but dresses are a breeze.

That is awesome! Soooo cute. That'd be for next summer? Or is it small enough for her to wear this August/Sept?

It's a newborn! Its not my favorite pattern but the one I usually make starts with size 1.

Easy for you to say!!! ROFL I sewed the girls dresses last summer and it took forever and a lot of ripped seams. But there was a little more to theirs than this one. I really like the one you made, it's adorable.

That is so stinkin cute! How bout instead of embrodery, try a ruffle or a lace trim at the bottom? That would be very cute. If you know how to crochet that would be fun.
