Ok when I bought it, I bought the tool set for it. What do you use to get your die-cuts off the mat? I was looking at this spatula thing but didn't know if I should get it or not(it didn't come with the set).

I use my fingernails. Wink

I read on one of the cricut boards that you can use the Pampered Chef scraper, but I found that it was too thick to get the paper off without ruining it. a friend does have the tool thingy, and it works great. I just can't see myself spending the $$ on it.

My sis has the spatula thingy, but I usually just use my nails too.

When I bought mine it came with the kit and spatula. I use the spatula all the time, but fingernails work great too. Smile My favorite tool in the kit is actually the little pointed hook thing. It works fabulous for poking out the insides of the tiny letters you cut.

I have the spatula and tend to use it on the smaller or thinner stuff, otherwise it's the finger nails.

I use the spatula to remove the larger piece of paper and then use the small hook to remove the letters.

Finger nails too, but I can see what you mean by cutting them, so I'm sure the spatula will come in handy too.

okay, so I bought the spatula ... how did I live without it before!? Seriously, it's awesome!!!

I bought ink from 123inkjets.com (or something like that) and I needed to add $5 to get free shipping. they sell some Cricut stuff so I added the spatula. Finally used it last night (forgot I even had it for about a week), and I LOVE IT!!!!

I know the issue is resolved but I thought I would add that I use my tweezers to get stuff off. My mom has the toolkit and spatula and it works great!
