    Default I'm back!!!!!

WOW do I have some catching up to do!
Well we are all moved in Still have boxes to unpack but everything we need at the moment is out. I think I have one more week of unpacking and then I am going to sign up for a crop before I forget how to scrapbook. It has been about two months and that is way too long. I have this great porch that is full of windows and when dh was gone I quickly made it my scrap space. Well guess what he does not like it He said that is where people walk in to take off coats and things and said I can still scrap out there if everything is out of site. WELL......... that is missing the entire point. You gals remember all the cute fixtures and things I have how can I hide that? If I wanted to do that I could use the dining room. Maybe he will budge since I let him buy a 60 inch flatscreen yesterday. That is my only space here to scrap any idea's?????
The kids are all good and Tyson has not had a seizure since I last talked to you all so YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! The new meds are working!!!!!!!!
Jasmin is on the American girl cover for the month of January which everyone tells me they have seen her but I have not got it yet and Damien's 1st ad in Kohl's is out next weekend!!!!! Feb 11 so I can't wait!
Also, Charys did you ever submit that great page? How about you Trina any more pages published? I hope you all are doing well. I am off to take Jasmin to school and then I will be back to catch up on all of you and all the new gals too!!!! TTYS

Welcome back! I'm glad everyone is adjusting to the move and that the new meds are working. How is your neck?

As far as the scrap space, I'm having trouble picturing it but is there a way to curtain off your scrapbooking? Could you invest in some shelving? If you really need don't have room elsewhere, stack a bunch of the stuff in your room and on DH's side of the bed. Then, when he asks you what's going on you can tell him it was the only place no one else can see it but unfortunately that means he has to sleep on the couch. J/K Hope you find a solution.

Glad you're doing well - I was going to post a thread today asking after you, actually, so I'm glad I saw this first!

I'd tell DH that too bad, that's your space, deal with it Especially since he got the TV! Nancy's suggestion is pretty funny though lol.

And no, haven't been published again, BUT, I did find out that one of my pages will be the feature online layout idea on Memory Maker's Magazine's on Valentine's day. So that's neat! I submitted a bunch more the other night, but the call doesn't end til tomorrow, so I don't expect to hear back anytime soon ... even if I do get published again - but thanks for asking!

And you better get scrapping so we can get more ideas from you! Scan pics of the ads when you get a chance, too - we don't have Kohl's, so there's no chance of me seeing it!

Welcome back Tia!! I missed you and am glad you are getting settled in, I know how hard moving is. I love Nancy's advice on the scrapbook space issue, but not sure it will work. Might backfire on you and you'd be sleeping alone for a while. I'm sure you'll work it out. Yay for a new TV too!! And that is soooo awesome about Tyson, truly great news. I too am hoping you'll post the pics of the kiddos, I sure enjoy seeing them. That has to be super exciting too! Looking forward to you staying around girl.

Welcome back to the land of scraping!!! So glad to hear that the new meds are working, that is wonderful And I'm excited to hear that Jasmin is the cover of American girl and that Damien's add is coming out.

Hope you get the scrap space figured out. DH keeps trying to turn my craft area into storage so he has more room in his garage - grrrr.

I am so glad you are back and unpacked. I can't wait to seep ics of the house now that it's furnished (hint hint). I love the idea about DH's side of the bed.

And tough if it shows your scrap space. You are incredibly talented and your DH should be supportive of that and proud of you for doing such a great job and raising three beautiful children.

I'm also thrilled to hear that Tyson has not had another seizure. That's fantastic news!

Can't wait to see Kohls new circular.

Tia- if it helps, I have TWO friends who have their scrap stuff on the front porch (which is enclosed of course), and it never seems out of place to walk past it coming in.

    Glad to have you back!

Welcome back! I'm thrilled to hear that Tyson's meds are working. I know that must be so scary to live with. Can't wait to see updated moved in pics. (hint, hint) Maybe ask your DH where he thinks you should have your scrapbook stuff! If it's "his idea" then sometimes it settles easier. Like mention what you would need to do to keep the stuff in there and still make it a spot for people to dump their coats off. Also, ask him how many times you actually have company over that would care? I mean, I know personally that all of my IRL friends know I'm a scrapbooker and could probably care less when they see my stuff scattered on my desk. ya know? It's your house, not theirs', is what I always say!
Nope, never sent the page off. Maybe I will.......
