I'm back!

Holidays were fun! We were actually gone from home for a week, but at my inlaws house they had a computer so I sneaked on a couple times. Then we went to the 'big city' of Edmonton, where I used to live for 5 years.

We did a 'staycation' - all the 'touristy' things we never get around to, including the zoo, Fort Edmonton Park (which is like a walk thru time from 1860's to 1925ish, each street is a different era with houses, etc - we had a lot of fun there), and taking our 2 year old to Galaxyland - the indoor amusement park in West Edmonton Mall. We were delighted to find out that children under 3 are free with 1 companion free too (for a parent) - so dd rode the train 16 times in a row. I went and saw Eclipse while dh was doing that lol. It was AWESOME! We also checked out the Street Performer's Festival, but dd really wasn't into that - maybe in a couple years she'll like that. But yes, overall we had a blast!

Now I just have to download and scrap with the 600+ picures I took. EEK!
