Hi All! I wanted to introduce myself and be active on this board. I did some scrapbooking in high school (LONG time ago!) but never even finished one book. I found that I had to buy too many papers, stickers, embellishments, etc. I am one of those people who gets really overwhelmed by too many choices. Going to Hobby Lobby gives me an anxiety attack!
Since having my son in October I have found myself taking tons of pictures of him. I have uploaded them to Facebook but I wanted to create something more meaningful that he (and we) can look back on when he is older. Enter Shutterfly! I had a coupon for a free photobook. On the last day before my coupon expired I went online and created it. I had so much fun! I finally got to put all those pictures into a cute format to tell his story and share it with grandparents.
'Virtual' scrapping is so much easier for me because I don't have to go to Hobby Lobby and buy an ton of stuff. I can get on when I have time, upload my photos, create my pages, and order a book.
Here is my shutterfly site: http://www.carterallan.shutterfly.com My first scrap book is posted. Feel free to take a look and tell me what you think.
I don't know if you ladies know about this site but http://www.scrapbooksteals.com has two 'steals' a day that are deeply discounted.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

welcome! I am glad you decided to jump back on the scrapbook train! I have made a few shutterfly books myself and it is so fun! I also LOVE scrapsteals! I check it every time a new steal is up and I have ordered from them before and their shipping is QUICK! I would get my stuff a day or two later! They have some awesome steals! Looking forward to seeing your stuff! I tried checking out your photo book but it was stuck on "one moment please" for a long time! So I'm going to check it out a little later!
Hi! Welcome!! I have done some digital scrapping too and I enjoyed it a lot, but my heart is in paper so that is what I usually do. I couldn't get you link ( to your album) to load, but I am going to try again later.
Welcome Jen! Funny how having kids makes the photos increase! I do both digi and paper scrapping, but I'm about two years behind on mine due to my other crazy hobbies. Hope you stick around and can share pages in posts. (I'll have to peek at your shutterfly link later, I'm not supposed to be online right now, I should be working! )

I loved your photo book. What I really loved was how you focused on just 1 or 2 really perfect photos to capture the moment. I can be guilty of trying to fit too many photos in one page.
I am new here too and I also do digital scrapbooking. I'm not crafty enough to do it with paper I will have to check out the steals site as I have always used shutterfly.
Can't wait to see more of your work!
Hi and Welcome! I couldn't get the link to work. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
