But I'm going to try my hand at making Kaitlyn a tutu!
Here is what I'm going to try - wish me luck! If it works out, that's going to be Christmas presents for all the little girls I know (because what little girl doesn't like playing dressup?)
(And, BTW - why does "A Person that sews" have the same word to describe them as an icky, gross place?????????????)
I bought some ribbon and tulle to make one of these for Lindsay last Christmas, and before I made it, my mom bought her one. I was thinking one tutu was enough for a one year old, lol. But now that she's getting into dressing up I ought to dig that stuff out and make her another one! Thanks for the reminder!!!
ah, take pics of the end-product! It looks darling! And let me know how challenging it was...I'm no sew-er either.

oooh!! Thanks for posting Trina!!! I definetly want to give this a try!!! You'll have to post pictures when you're done, ok?!

I believe "seamstress" is the word you're looking for. cause I'm not a sewer! (I don't think I'm a seamstress either, but I do sew, and that's the word to describe those who sew)
I've heard that tutus are pretty easy to make, and probably are forgiving if you mess up. can't wait to see your end results!
