Image Search Question

Specifically for Digi Scrappers ...

How do you find specific images/elements for a project?

For example, I have an idea for a project using this quote, "if you can't stand the heat, don't tickle the dragon". But I have NO clue how to go about finding an appropriate dragon image. I know how to find clip art art, but where can I find transparent (.png or whatever ending?) images that will work in a project?

Any help?? TIA!!

When I am looking for something specific, I go into my favorite online stores and do a search. Each of the ones I go to, you can search for key words once you get into the store. There is generally a little box where you can type in a keyword. In your case, you could type in dragon and items might come up. I've done it with zoo animals and doctor (to find a stethescope), etc.

.... I tried doing a search for dragon on a few sites and all I get is kits with dragonflies. Depending on the program you are using, you could go ahead and use clipart and edit the picture so it is usable. I've done that with ladybugs that I liked, but you generally need a photo editor to do this.

Thanks for your advice!

I currently just have Scrapbook Factory and Print Shop ... but I think we're going to download Gimp (it's a freeware photo editor) and it might have what I need to make the clip art work.
