Ink for latex

Ok ladies. In an effort to keep it cheap I have been attempting to stamp my own decorative balloons. I found some cute stamps but when I stamp the balloon, the ink doesn't want to dry. It's really cute to stamp the balloon and when I blow it up the insects are huge but they smear. I have let them sit for over an hour and they just won't dry! Any advice or suggestions?
This is what happens when T.J. plays with the practice balloon. Biggrin

I've searched and I can't find anything online about stamping on balloons. I know it will ruin/stain the stamp permantly but what about trying a sharpie marker? That would be permanent.

Did you use Stazon ink? That stuff "stays on" everything! I've never had it smear on anything.

Wow, I have no idea. It'd be cool if the Stazon Ink works. You'll have to kup if you try it!

That looks like a good idea. It says it works on cellophane. Do you know where I can get it in the store or is it online only?

I was going to say stazon as well. that stuff is awesome! They have it at my semi-local hobby lobby.

You can probably find it anywhere they sell normal rubber stamp inks. Craft stores, scrapbooking stores..etc.

StazOn works on glass so I am guessing balloons would be fine. Michael's sells it.
