I don't know ANYTHING about sewing, but personally I think the red at the bottom is a bit busy ... but I think the green & blue would look great to match the top and tie it all in.

I'm actually thinking the same thing. Do you think I should still do the cow print ruffle without the red or no ruffle at all?

I'm kinda thinking the same thing. That red isn't really in the top anywhere...kwim? Do you have any more of the red/white gingham ribbon left?

ps do you have an embroidery machine at your house?

I do have an ebroidery machine at my house. I bought it last fall and love it!

I have some red/white gingham ribbon but I don't think it matches the material I used on the top. Let me take a pic with it and tell me what you think.

If I had a little girl, that is totally something I would buy. I am not big on pink, pink, pink, because I know she would get enough pink from everyone else!! (Don't get me wrong, I love the color pink, it's just that almost every girls outfit out there is PINK)
The blue and green ribbon at the bottom would finish it nicely, without the ruffle.

Ok, I like it with the blue and green ribbon only (and a ruffle).

Make sure to show us the finished project!
