Ahhh. Finally finished with the invites. I'm sitting down with a bowl of ice cream to treat myself! And I've gotta go check out everybody's work! I'm a little bummed that I didn't get to do another LO, but I have a few ideas that I am ready to get started on next time I get a chance to scrap!
Thank you so much for letting me join in, ladies! I had such a good time. The challenges really kept me moving, and I really love the way most of my LOs came out!
Katie, ugh about the buttons!!! The post office must hate me. I send more cards with buttons and junk. I can't believe you had to redo them all. I'd have cried. You DESERVE that bowl of ice cream!
Gwen, give Natalie a big birthday hug from me! I can't believe she's already three.
This was such an amazing crop! I can't get over all the pages and cards that everyone did.
I'm going to be drawing names from a hat at random tomorrow for the prizes. I'll let Kayson do the honors, after I write them all down and put them in there. It's going to take me a while with the ones that have different entry amounts. lol But I will get them announced sometime tomorrow afternoon!!!
We've still got a few hours left. I'm heading to bed and will check the threads in the morning. I've got a catering job for 30 people tomorrow for lunch, so I will be busy all morning.
Have a great night!!
Thanks for making this one of the best scrapbooking weekends EVER!!! :bigarmhug:
I didn't know you catered Charys. Is it fun?
I hope to get to drawing names today. I've got this vague feeling of emptiness, like I'm left without something to do because the crop is over. Yet at the same time I'm releaved because I have a lot of laundry to catch up on. I just don't wanna and am bummed by it. Silly feelings.
Sad the crop is over - I was inspired over the weekend, even though I only got 3 pages done! We'll have to keep each other motivated ...
Off to draw a name for the winner of my challenge
Wow, you guys were busy. I just read through everything and need to go comment on your work. I did get some pages and cards done by myself but need to find the time to scan them in and share. I used a Cricut! I need to get one of those...LOL
oh, we call it pop here :bigwink:
Yes, I've catered since I was actually only 18. Crazy, but cooking is my favorite thing! (It's probably tied with scrapbooking....) so catering just came naturally. I only did one job a week when I worked at the bank before having Kayson, but after I had him it's allowed me to stay home and take on more jobs. I really enjoy it but it's A LOT of work. My max number of people to cook for by myself is 35. Any more than that and I have to enlist the help of my hubby or a friend. DH is awesome at helping! When we were dating he and I catered a wedding for over 300 people by ourselves!!!! (NEVER happening ever ever again, but in the end it turned out really good)
