Here's the layout I did yesterday. It includes my very first paper doll using the Cricut cartridge. I'm quite pleased with how the whole thing turned out.
I used the Paper Dolls cart for the paper Jordan, Celebrations for the 4, balloons, and gift, and Cuttin' Up for "Jordan is".
The square pictures on the second page is Jordan on tv at Chuck E Cheese's. It's really hard to tell from the photo of the page, you can see it much better in person. The silhouettes of Andrew and Jordan on the first page are "popped up", as you can probably tell by their larger shadow (from the sun).
I got the paper on clearance from AC Moore for only 13 cents each! What a bargain!
I have line glue "dots" and I took two, rolled them into a ball and put them on the back. I did that twice for each picture. I do have foam pop-ups that are double sided stickers for the same purpose, but I couldn't find them at all! (which is a sign that I need to reorg my corner)
Sorry for all the questions........
Do you put your pages in plastic sleeves? I'm just wondering if the pop-ups are "smooshed" if you do put them in plastic sleeves? I like the pop-up idea and I'm trying to figure out if it'd work for me since I insist on using the sleeves.
Looks great - the pop-ups are really cool!
Great lo's, I really love the paper doll, too cute... I wanted to add about the plastic sleeves/foam pop dots, I use them too and one thing I read is always store your scrapbooks standing up, this helps prevent the pages from flattening when using the foam pop dots and such.
The paper doll cut-out is so cute! The 3-D look of the page with those two photos makes it look great.
