I was wondering what you ladies use for journaling pens? Are they just normal pens, the fine point sharpies or gel pens or something else? I want to get several different colors other than the traditional black pens i've been using but want some feedback before I go out and spend the $....
I like to use the fine point Sharpies...however, they're not Acid Free. I try not to use them near my pictures. I really like the Slick Writers by American Crafts. They have them in fine, medium, large (points). They also come in lots of different colors.
Costco has a great set of acid-free gel pens. They come in all sorts of colors, sparkles, metallics, neon. It's a HUGE package, but you can always give some away.
Pens you say, well I have quite a collection, I think I have a addiction, lol.
Sharpie makes a poster-paint pen that is acid free, and come in several different sizes, med-point, fine, extra fine. Those really work well and I love the white ones for using on dark papers.
Roseart has a permanent marker that is also acid free, I have the metallics set and love them.
Galaxy markers are good, Marvy Memories are good too, I got them at Joann's.
I have quite a few Uni-ball pens, I love them because they write so smooth. Papermates flair felt pens are a favorite of mine too. They come in assorted colors. Zig pens are good too.
And I didn't spend too much on mine. The flair pens were only 3-5 dollars for the package with several colors. If you have a biglots check there, I found my galaxy markers there and only paid 2.00 for 5, which is pretty cheap compared to Michaels and Joanns. If you check biglots, check scrapbooking section and the school supply isle.
I use gel pens and I bought a great white Sharpie for journaling and doodles at Susan's scrapshack for a reasonable price. I've used it a bunch!

Also Micron pens - you can get them at Michaels, Joanns, and most art supply stores and they come in colors and different thicknesses.
