Linda (LindieLu)

I am sorry to call you out, but I noticed your ticker is getting pretty close to due time to trade those BCPs in! Can you give us more info!? Was it hard conceiving Cadence? Just a nosy person wanting more info! Lol I am really hoping your TTC turns into a BFP soon!

Hey Sadie!!! I know... i was thinking about stop taking them today.. I'm still breastfeeding my little one (only once in the morning)... so I've been taking the progesterone only birth control pill and it's driving my body NUTS! (I keep spotting and having my monthly blessing like every 2 weeks!!) - which i was told I shouldn't get it at all!!! GRR!!

So yeah.. we are going to go ahead and try to conceive a sibling for Cadence... the thought of paying for 2 kids in daycare scares the crap out of me!! But I don't want to wait for the "perfect" time to have another one - because it will never be a perfect time. I was talking to the hubby yesterday and was telling him how it would be nice to have a spring baby (especially since I work in the schools)... so I'm actually hoping that I don't get pregnant until the summer - but it's all in God's hands.. it will will happen when He wants us to have another one. I'm looking forward to temping and charting again though! (I was completely obsessed with it when we were ttc Cadence!)

To answer your question... we conceived Cadence on my 6th cycle. We actually went to the doctor's a couple of weeks before I conceived to see why it wasn't happening (i was charting, ovulating...) and he told us to basically stop having sex so much! LOL He said to only have it every other day instead of EVERYDAY! LOL.. we followed the doctor's orders and a couple of weeks later we were in Myrtle Beacha and VOILA!! We made a baby! Smile (maybe being on vacation helped a little too).

It seems like people on my birth board who were ttc #2, didn't have to wait too long... I hope that we don't get our bfp tooooo quickly (i want to enjoy the journey as much as possible since it *may* be our last)... and like i said.. sure would be nice to take 6 or 8 weeks off and then it would be summer (So i would get like 4 months off total!) We shall see!!!

Don't worry about being nosey... I am all about nosiness! haha...

I never TTC so I can't relate to the experience. I would love to try it though! Lol

I hope your spotting gets straigtened out so that you can chart easier, etc. We will be hoping for a summer BFP though!

Glad to know you don't think I am nosy! Wink

I can't relate to TTC either, so charting is WAY over my head! I won't be stalking you, but I do require updates! Wink I understand you wanting a summer baby. I am still going to school, so I can be an elementary teacher, so I can totally relate. I still don't know when we will be trying again. I will be thinking of you and your family. I hope you get a BFP when the Lord thinks it's time!

I just realized that my ticker isn't right. I must have calculated wrong... Saturday is my last day of bcp (not Friday).. so I have a few more days to go instead of a couple. (not like it really matters at this ponit) - i just wanted to finish up the prescription (which was for 3 months so we could reassess the situation). Smile
