Long time lurker with a question
Hi! I'm Christine and have been a lurker on this board for many, many years. I usually just stick with paper or digital scrapbooking, but I have been looking more and more at making an altered clipboard for my oldest sons teacher. I *think* i've read on here that several have made these before, and am looking for some advice.
For starters, is Mod Podge best to use for not only attaching the paper but for the "top coat"? Also, if I use Mod Podge, do I not use it until I add embellishments/lettering or do I add them after I coat the chipboard with Mod Podge? (I wanted to add a monkey die cut and his teachers name to the front of the board and wasn't sure if I also coat those with the MP.)
I've seen tons of tutorials and some say use the MP as well as an acrylic sealer......GAH, i'm thinking I should have picked something else to do for his teacher!!!
Anyhoo, thank you for any and all help! :)
