LOs from the crop

Yay! I finally got a bunch done!!! :woohoo: I went to a crop Friday night and Saturday. I only got 6 pages done (did a little more gabbing than working at times), but overall I am really pleased! It was so nice to have some "me" time!!!!!!!!! Sorry the pictures are not great; I think they are all crooked and have shadows on them. I was rushing trying to take them before my kids woke up this AM! Smile

This one I did the first night. Th journaling shows how Lindsay is currently pronouncing (or mispronouncing ;)) a lot of her words:

I like this one! Evan on the kiddie roller coaster, along with DH and my brother (aka two really big kids, lol). I wasn't sure about using purple cardstock for a "boy" LO, but I think it works okay!

Eh:

This one I probably did the fastest, but I really actually like it a lot:

And my favorite by far! The left hand page is of course not dark as it appears here...that would be my lovely shadow, haha. Anyway, my family has a cottage where we travel pretty much every weekend in the summer. This was basically our "vacation," other than a few day trips, so this is a big thing for us. Pretty much the whole summer summed up on one page (okay, two pages :))!

Thanks for looking!!!

I'm jealous of your 6 pages! I'm also jealous of you being able to go to a crop!

I love your double LO! It came out great! I like the little arrows and tags you put on it.

The roller coaster one doesn't show up as too purple to me. And I love the 4th of July one. It flows together really well.

TFS!

I know, it was sooo great to go to a crop again! I hadn't been to one since probably March or April, and I barely scrapped at all throughout the whole summer. I was so nice to get back into the groove! I think we're going to try to get together for a crop every 4-6 weeks, so that's exciting! Smile

Thanks for the compliments! And I'm glad you don't think the roller coaster one is too purple, although it is def. more purple in person than it shows in the pic!

I didn't think it looked too purple either. However I've used purple and pink on a boy LO...so to me it's great!! Smile

LOVE them all, but my faves are the first and last ones. The first one really is gorgeous, yet basic, which is what I LOVE about your style. The last one is just awesome how you got so many pics on a LO, and I will be copying it for sure!

TFS and congrats on getting so much done and getting out to a crop.

You're so talented Katie, it's not even funny!!! I can't tell you how much I love all 6 of these layouts. I wish I could take the time to comment on each one, but wow, I'll just say that I'm wishing I could call in sick today just to scrap, since you've inspired me so much. LOVE them!!

Wow, thye are all so amazing. I can't even begin to pick a favorite. The first one is so pretty and girly. The row of buttons is great. That last one is pretty amazing, it looks like a digital storyboard. Your 4th of july one tunred out great too, I have been wrestling with mine for a few weeks now and I hate everything I do with it

These are all fabulous, I love the first one, I need to lift the idea for K's words. What does the journalling say?

I LOVE the curve on the roller coaster one, it really makes the whole page flow with the photos and your titlework there is great! Love that you were able to go to a crop and get so much done! And yes, gabbing is part of the fun lol.

Thanks, ladies! You all are waaay too nice! I feel like I must point out that these are all scraplifts (at least in part). Biggrin

Trina, here's the journaling for the talking page:

At 18 months, you just can’t wait to figure out this whole talking thing! You are repeating more and more words. You’re becoming a pro at some words, like mama, dada, see, no, shoe, and toot. However, many others you pronounce in your very unique, very “Lindsay” way! Here are a few of our favorites:

Fish - shish Moo - boo
Love you - wuff ooo Woof - fff
Lindsay - Izay Meow - nooo
Please - sheesh Help - bup
Yes - ses Yay - day
Night-night - nah nah Two - tyou
Pretty - tee tee Up - pup
Car - cah Cup - pup
Juice - shoosh Hat - tat
Belly button - oh oh Bowl - buh

Sorry the formatting got messed up and for some reason I can't fix it. I think you get the idea, though!

Wow, they are all great! I don't think the purple one looks very purple either. LOVE the 4th of July one, I would have never guessed you threw it together quickly!

Those turned out great! You should be so proud. The first one is my fave for all the button work. I love how you did the wave for the roller coaster. I love the simplicity and the detail of the 2 page layout. The colors of the summer one are great. The 4th of July one is clean and very patriotic.

Dang it. I'm going to have to start a scraplift folder because I swear I would lift every single one of these to do whenever I actually start scrapbooking. Stunning. LOVE the cottage one. LOVE IT!
