Love the quote - Hate my handwriting

Okay theres a quote I found while browsing galleries and I love it and I desperately want to use it, but I hate my handwriting. I know it's kind of a necessary part of scrapbook journaling but I don't like it.
So heres my thing. I wanted to do it on cricut but even with the letters at one inch it pretty much takes up the ENTIRE PAGE. It's just one picture that I want to put on there (my scrapbook picture) but I can't figure out how to do it so I like it.

"If I could hold a star for every time you make me smile, the entire evening sky would lie in the palm of my hand"

Can you print it on your computer and just cut it out?

That was going to be my suggestion too.

I would print it out on the computer and cut it out, that way you can make it fit on the page. Smile I love the quote also. Can't wait to see the finished LO.

or you could get a transparency, put it so that it prints ON the glossy side and print it in mirror image. When it is done you can rub it onto the layout. Practice though with some small things because you don't want to ruin your layout. Its easy once you get the hang of it.

I was going to suggest using the computer and printing it on a piece of vellum.

Good luck! It is a beautiful quote to use.

What about a small sized ABC template? I think sometimes that gives a quote a more "formal" feel.

Amanda, be my guest to scraplift. Thats what I'm doing.

Okay so I'm going to try to print out out on some vellum. It will be more difficult because I don't have a home printer which means I'll have to take it to work and do it here but then again these are fast laser printers where everything comes out dry so it wouldn't smudge. Thanks for the ideas.

I requested it from a blogger that makes Wordart Freebies, if she posts it I'll let you know so you can see it Smile

That quote is awesome, by the way! Where did you find it?

I had the same thing happen a while back. I just went to Michaels and picked up some really small stickers and went at it with a pair of tweezers. It took all night, but looks great.

Not sure if you're still looking for it, but my fave wordart guru came thru - the quote is on her website today (freebie) ... take a look and see if you like it, I think it turned out great!

Trina, it's fantastic. Now, one more question, when I go to her 4sharing site and I click on the picture, it practically blacks the words out. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal - just because 4shared doesn't know what a PNG file is (transparent background) ... just click on the "Download Now", save to your computer and open with a program that recognizes PNGs (Windows preview does, so you can open it that way and print)! Smile
