I'm sorry to drop in on your thread but I have been trying to come up with a solution and I just can't find on (Thanks for nothing DIY, LOL).
OK I do traditional scrapbooking and the books I ahve all have the page protector sleeves, which is great. However, I want to add interactive aspects to it like flip outs and things but I can't find a way to do that so the reader can easily access it without having to take the page out of the sleeve first. Does anyone have ideas? I thought of cutting along the sides of the sleeve and then somehow adding an attachment feature so you could just pull down the front cover, but I'm not sure how I would sttach it at the top. Thanks again.
I always wondered about this too, and then I went to a unit meeting where they had some scrapbooks out (i'm a creative memories consultant) and i saw the coolest idea. she made a space in her LO for where she wanted it and then put the page protector on and the on top of the page protector put this on:
that way they can pull out whatever you want them to be able to look at.... it was sooooo cool

i don't know exactly what this is, but i think its the same idea

I just read something on that, I like to do hidden journaling. They said put your layout in the page protector and then take a pencil and trace around whatever you want to be acessed and then carefully cut on the page protector.
Those are really cool Natalie! I love CM but I spend way too much $$$ on it LOL My sister's friend sells it and has set up a "shop" in her basement with TONS of stuff right on hand, and a scrapbooking studio with tables. I go nuts in there!
On the pages I have done with pull out journaling I did what the girls said. I put the page in the sleeve and traced around where I was going to cut. Then I took the page out and put a piece of cardboard in so I wouldn't cut the back side of the sleeve. Then use an exacto knife and cut it out! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Oh thanks I knew ya'll could help me. I'll have to stop lurking an djoin in on the action here. I guess I've been too embarrassed because I've been working on the same page for 3 weeks now. It takes me forever to find time.
