do you read a sb mag? if so, which? if you read more than one, what do you like better?

That's funny you posted this, because I just got an offer for Scrapbooks, ETc. for 19.89/year and wondered if that would be worth it. I don't subscribe to any scrapbooking magazines, but every once in a while will buy one. I'm curious to what the others have to say.

I like creating keepsakes and scrapbooks etc... if I was going to do a subscription I'd probably do scrapbooks etc.

I have subscriptions to Digital Scrapbooking magazine and Canadian Scrapbooker, but I really like Scrapbooks etc as well.

I used to do the whole subscription thing but I eventually let them all run out. I found Creating Keepsakes to be the same people over and OVER. I like Simple Scrapbooks but it seems to have a lot of ads in it. Now if I see something at the store that seems to have a lot of ideas I like I'll buy it. I figured I'd rather spend that money on supplies. Just my opinion Biggrin

eta: if I HAD to subscribe to one it'd be Scrapbook Trends.

I currently have a subscription to Memory Makers which I fully intend to let expire at the end of my contract. Like you, I can only do 1 at a time and before MM, I was subscribed to Simple Scrapbooks. When it's time for me to pick a new one, I plan to go back to Simple Scrapbooks or perhaps I'll try Digital Scrapbooks next time.

GL in your decision!

Best,
GiGi

I have CK also... love when it shows up in my mailbox, but it's a quick read. I like it better than the others though... like the layout/ads better. I still get it mainly for ali edwards's column and to see new product.

I have Creative Memories "Lasting Memories." It usually has a nice balance between paper and digital. I wasn't happy with the last issue though...

You might want to check me on this but it looks like CK is published 13 times a year whereas Scrapbooks ETC is only 8 issues. Oh, but one of my ETC mags has a 2 year deal in it so that is 16 issues you just have to wait a little longer in between.

I haven't yet decided on a subscription but looking at my store purchases I have 8 CKs and 5 ETC's.

NAK - Nursing at Keyboard.

Sorry Gwen, I have no suggestions because I've never even looked through a scrapbooking magazine.

I just have to say that I LOVE my subscription to Digital Scrapbooking magazine - now that they've worked the kinks out! They send you it digitally about a month or so before you get it on paper, too, so if you're dying to see something (ie when I got published in it, I was dying to see it) ... and they have a lot of good hints/tips for programs - PSE especially.

I think I need to thumb through a copy of a CK before I make a decision. There are so many SB magazines, I'm glad I'm only choosing between two Lol
