    Angry Making b-day invitations

I just am having the roughest time making these cards. I got a cute Train stamp today from a church member's scrap store, and gave it a good try to make a few. but they just arent turning out like I wanted AT ALL! Im going to try and get a bigger and better stamp pad, that will help considerably. And I think I'll also go back and get the black glitter paint stuff instead of the red that Zylin picked out they're cute with the red but a little cheezy, with the already cheezy look it just isnt working

What i have going is a flapper thing so its 1 12x12 sheet cut down to be able to fit in a 4x5 envelope all folded up. the 1st flap covers from the left and I want to say "choo-choo" then the uncovered part has the Train stamp with glittery stuff to add depth, then lift that up like a normal card and it would say "peek-a-boo" on the flap, open that it would say "look who's turning two", then the last part would have the invite info on it. I like the design, and the idea, but its not looking cute at all So maybe I need to change the design? Also the other problem I have is getting the words on there. My handwritting SUCKS! so I use my little stamps, but it takes WAY too long and turns out crooked. Do you have any other ideas? I need help desperately! TIA!

can you print on vellum instead of trying to write or stamp? I HATE my handwriting, so I print everything either on paper or vellum.

that stinks that you're struggling with this. you're braver than me to try it. can't wait to see pictures of how it turns out!

I haven't made any cards yet, but I am sure your's will look fine. As far as stamping the letters, maybe you could use a ruler to keep them straight. HECK, I don't know! Sorry I wasn't any help!

Could you take a pic of what you've done, so we can get a better idea of what you're talking about? It sounds nice!

I got it! I bought a set of clear stamps and that has done the trick! I was so frustrated with the individual stamps, but this works MUCH better. And I bought a BIG ink pad for everything and that is way easier. I'll take a pic soon to show you.
