Marvy Matchables

I have been looking for an alternative to the Stampin Write markers to use on stamps. I have been looking at a set of brush markers at Michaels but was hesitant to buy them. Does anyone have markers they use for stamping images and if so, what kind?

Erin (honey3.14)- You said you had these Marvy matchables. Do you really like them? Also, where did you buy them?

To be honest, I'm just getting into stamping. I like them but I really like Chary's stamp work a lot better. I would definitely go with her techique, if I hadn't spent a small fortune on the pens. The pens are cool but they only do outline work. I'll take some pictures later and show you what I mean. When they dry up, eventually I'll be going with pencil's. It's a softer more hand drawn look rather than a "Stamp".

I got them at Michaels.

Thanks Erin, I love the effect of markers and eventually want to get some myself, but you're right...pencils give a nice soft look. I just bought a set of very inexpensice Crayola pencils at Walmart and that's all I've used.

Have any of you seen the "True to Life" colored pencils. I had a student bring some in at the beginning of the year and I bought me some at Wal-Mart. They fade out from one shade to another. They kinda look marbled. I haven't used them for scrapping. I'll have to bring them home from school and try them with stamping. I've colored different things at school and they are really pretty cool for $4! Here's a link to see them:
