    Default Matching pages?

So I've got ideas for a bunch of single page layouts that I want to make, but I am kind of worried about how it will look in my book if I have a Christmas themed page facing a black and white photo page. For those of you who paper scrap or print out your digi pages, do you make your facing pages match? Or am I just being too anal?

I am working on my wedding scrapbook right now and I'm doing my best to keep every two pages match, but it's hard...! I don't think it'd be too "weird" if they didn't match, though. Each page takes complete attention to the eye, so it's not like people looking through will hold the book back and go "Hey, this doesn't look right!!" lol... they'll just look at once, and then move on to the next.

i have only always made my 2 pages match. i never make single pages.... so i guess i'm used to it. as for one page being christmas, i've done that, where one is christmas and the other isn't, but there's always something that ties them together.

I don't match them. I have a lot of 2 pages to but for the single page, I don't have the pages coordinate.

    It should be ok.

I was wondering this same thing! I've only done single pages so far (the three I've done) - but I would like to do two-page spreads, too - and I wasn't sure how it would look all together!

My single pages don't match either. It never really bothered me. Think of each page as 2 different short stories - they are going to "sound" (look) different!

I think it is fine to go either way. Coordinating pages look nice and I try not to make pages that clash with each other, but I don't think they always have to be the same.

some of my single pages match, or coordinate somewhat, but others don't. I try to keep my books chronological, but I don't always know which pages will face each other. I haven't had anything clash terribly yet.

I hardly ever have two pages match! It doesnt bother me. My MIL, however, HAS to match each page that faces eachother as a two page thing. It drives me batty trying to help her! It kinda just depends on your personality and what suits you the best.

I don't even think about the pages matching unless it is a 2 pager! Now I will probably be going, "Hmmm, does that 'go' with that one?" ROTFL
