Mini Challenge #4 Torn Edges (sticky Please)

OK so after much conversation..I've decided on this challenge to be done with torn edges. I love this style, and would love to see what everyone comes up with.

Deadline is Feb 14th. Smile Don't forget to remove your siggy. Smile

Oh, I love this. I haven't done any torn edges in a few months. This will be good.

ooh that's a lovely page!! I love the curl with the tear. I don't think I have ever done that before. Very nice!

Sadie - Your page is wonderful too!! The paper is so beautiful and I love how you have the contrasting torn strip down the right side.

I spent several hours just fooling w/ torn paper! I started off w/ pieces that were about 4 to 6 inches long and ended up w/ this. LOL I'm so proud of this page though, I have 3 hand made elements. I have yet to figure out a title though.

looks like love

I finally got around to doing my page!!! Embellishments are handmade/cut. the title is my writing cut out of paper and colored, also includes hand stitching on the squares and flowers. (except the buttons and "Mr & Mrs Anthony & Lizabeth Roadman" "April 23rd 2008") LOL oops i just realiuzed that i put 2008 instead of 2005, the year we were married. ah well..easy fix

Wow. That is a gorgeous layout! I think it's very original, and I love that you did the embellishments by hand and used your own writing for the title. Beautiful!

"he's got our hearts"
I used the paper-tearing technique for the heart at the bottom.

delurking to say 'beautiful job' to all! I love the look of torn pages and sometimes I just can't get it 'right' but it's so nice to see how others use it in their LOs. TFS

I am soooooooo happy with how mine came out!!!!!!!

"Snow Play" is a play on words from "snow day", if that makes sense. Wink Anyhow, I tore all sorts of paper for this layout, as you can tell. Torn paper mat two photos, torn snowflake vellum for snow on the bottom, and I made the mitten myself with torn paper. Wink I had a lot of fun!

Oh, and I tried outlining the title in purple with the Cricut markers - first red then blue, but it didn't come out looking purple at all. Lol But I'm happy with how the letters stand out with the marker.

Ignore the very edge of black on the bottom, that's my pregnant belly forcing my shirt over the paper - I was bummed to discover that when I was uploading. Oh, well, it doesn't take away from the layout, right?

That's the best part of a pregnancy belly! The page looks great, I like how you did the matting!
