Default MN ladies (this includes those close by & soon to be)

    Interested in a get together?
I figure we could either meet up with the kids and make a day of it or do a crop.
If there is enough interest I would be willing to set something up.

So if you are interested in getting together here is what I need to know:
Which would you rather do, kids or crop?
How far are you willing to travel to meet up?
What days of the week work best for you?
Are you willing to spend $ (for either a place to rent to do the crop or if we do something for the kids that requires money).
I'm thinking August would probably be good? (yes/no?) Gives us enough time to plan and save up money if needed.
In loving memory of Reed Aslan

ohhh that would be fun!! i'm up for anything, not sure how far i'd travel but i'm sure we could find a mid-point some place! i think a crop would be fun. if we're traveling it might get to be a long day with kids & the driving.

I would definitely be down for whatever, provided I'm in town. If I can't make the big one, maybe I could meet some of you individually. i would travel a bit for a crop. The weekend would work best for me because DH will have weekends off.

I'd be up for it. I think the weekends are best for me too and also I think a crop would be fun. If Kaelan were old enough to appreciate the zoo or something I would consider that but since not I'm going for the crop. Archivers allow people to use their space for free if there isn't a class going on, we could look into that! August sometime sounds good to me.

we should compile a list of everybody that's from MN and where so we could maybe find a midpoint!?

here's my brainstorming. mel, i can't remember what town you're from. i'm thinking the general area of blaine? am i way off?

    Andrea - Minneapolis
    Ashley - Annandale
Nancy - soon to be Big Lake
Michelle - Iowa, 2.5 hrs from Twin Cities
Shannon - Wisconsin, 4-5 hr. drive to Twin Cities
    Mel -

I'm from Madison, so it's a 4 to 5 hour drive to the twin cities. I'd definately be interested in something. It would probably have to be a weekend. I'd love to do both something with the kids and a crop. Karl would be with me (probably no dh, possibly our exchange student). If we could find a "cabin type place" where there were sleeping areas and open play/cropping space that would work for me cropping with Karl around. Does that make any sense??? I'd probably have to spend the night to make it doable. August would be fine, except the 22 & 23.

This would be a lot of fun!

I'm from Wisconsin, but I live in Iowa, about 2.5 hours from the Twin Cities. (I'm 45 minutes south of Fairmont or 1.5 hours southwest of Mankato).

I'd love to, but it really depends on my schedule. My husband is also a tad weary and doesn't understand why I want to meet my invisible friends in real life. LOL

Mine was like that at first ... but he even drove us up to Chicago to meet my first bunch of "psycho internet moms" (his old name for my "invisible" friends). since then, I've met over 50 moms from pg.org. Totally worth it!

Gwen, you've met over 50?!? That's so cool! DH was leary until we met in person one of the girls on my bb and her family. He adores them now like I do, so it's all good.
