    Default my attempt at spotlighting...

Ok first of all I don't have any good stamps to try this with so I decided to try and figure out a way to do it digitally. Is that crazy? I Just thought it was so cool. So... tell me... what do you think of this? let me know if it works or not. I like it in a way I'd have to try to do it with more photos though. For real stamps it only works with certain stamps right? I think its the same with pictures. It just depends on the picture. the face is kinda off.... it still needs work. I couldn't really find any tutorials out there for this so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right

That looks great. It has a real stamp/paper look to it. great job.

    thank you

I actually went back and fixed it a bit.

how is this one now? I increased the saturation of the round layer and cleaned up their faces a bit

I like the second version! The extra color is great, and that you cleaned up their faces a bit

here is another one... can you tell i'm still experimenting?
this is done a slightly different way. And i'm really tempted to print some of these out (the full b&w) as coloring pages for my daughter.

btw... if anyone wants to know how to do this..i'd be happy to put together some sort of a tutorial

Do you want to teach a class on this next week? I'm trying to get out of doing the class myself and this is a very cool technique! haha, actually I really wouldn't mind doing one, but this beats anything I had in mind.
