First, I have to preface my post to say that we're a wish list family. It's been that way for years. Not much of an element of surprise, I guess, but it seems to work.
I asked for the ATG gun ... and mistakenly sent a link to the ebay listing to the gun only, no tape. My dad bought me the gun just like I asked, with no tape. I can't believe I did that! So I need to buy the tape when I get home. I found a listing on ebay (same seller) for 12 rolls of tape for $20 (including shipping). But I'm psyched about the gun.
I also asked for Sure Cuts a Lot, and DH got me that. Hooray! I'm going to rebuild my laptop before I download and install it. I don't know if that will fix the sudden shutdown problem, but it's worth a try. I rebuilt it this time last year, it's just an old piece of crap machine. I just hate the time involved in backing up all of my data files, then wiping the machine and reinstalling everything.
I also got some stuff for my camera ... and I accidentally asked for the wrong size filter for my newest lens. I probably made my wish list late at night when I was really tired. Ugh. Oh, and my parents got me a pair of slippers that I asked for which are currently keeping my feet very warm, love them!
It was a nice birthday.
