    Default My DIY Christmas cards

So I don't digi scrap, but I decided to use digi scrap stuff to make cards so I could avoid the pricey card templates on sites like shutterfly, etc. I used freebies from freedigitalscrapbooking.com. everything on the card except for the picture and the writing - "christmas" and the sentiment at the end are from that site. It is very simple, but a) I have never digi scrapped and b) I wanted a cheaper option. I just made it 4x6 size and ordered 4x6 prints from walmart.com at 9 cents a copy! The craft store had a value pack of 50 envelopes (size 5x7) for $2.

Those are great Lauren! What a great deal too, plus you can get the self-satisfaction of having created something unique for yourself. So cute!

I think it is perfect. I used my freebies at artscow this year to have 5x7's printed, but how cool that you just did them as the 4x6 to avoid higher cost!

I really like the picture you chose.

i thought about a 5x7 but didn't know what the envelope options were...meanwhile, I ended up with a 5x7 envelope...and I didn't even think to check my artscow freebies...oh well I am sure I will find something for them. I already used freebies and sale stuff to get calendars and key chains for Christmas presents.
