Default My first attemp at stitching

This page took me 3 hours to do! I like how it turned out though! The stitching was actually pretty easy. All the letters were cut from my Cricut using the Jasmine cartridge. TFL

"the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree"

and here's a close-up of the stitching on the letters.

Charys, it looks awesome!!!!!!! What kind of thread do you use? sewing thread or something thicker? and I love how you did "acorn" on the strip like that.

I used embroidery thread, but I pulled it apart to just one thread for the "acorn" sewing and two threads for the brown stitching. I picked up 4 different colors of the embroidery floss, because they had a basket of it on sale for only .10! I should have bought more colors now that I think about it.
