My first scraplift attempt...thanks Charys!

I decided to attempt to create a page similar to Charys' first haircut page. This page is in the picture uno thread if anyone wants to compare. Hers is definitely better than mine, but I at least added some new elements I never had before, like tearing paper and stitching. TFL and thanks Charys for the idea.

BTW, I bought a cheapie glue runner thingee from Walmart and HATE it. It was like 8.00 and lasted like 3 pages and I hardly used it. It kept unraveling, etc. DH got tired of me asking him to fix it. Smile So I'm back to using real glue for now and I can see how it really warps the pages. I will buy some regular ol glue dots next time I go to Walmart. But you can really see the page warping here. Oh well.

Great page Carrie! I'm honored that you lifted one of mine. Smile It turned out cute!

What did you use for the stiching? It looks cool!

I love the gift and how you journaled around your pictures. Also, is your son still scrapbooking?

Thanks, and no he hasn't scrapped with me in a while. I think it's one of those things that kids go through, they like something, they don't like something. When I scrap I ask him to join and he says he doesn't want to.
