made these since it's a holiday and our daycare is closed.
this is for our neighbour: a retired man who very sweetly made us a set of stairs to the garden we needed for daycare licensing! (our cement ones weren't enough).
this is for our licensing officer who is nothing how everyone else described her (a dragon)...she has been so helpful with us and really bridged the gap between us and the thousands of laws we needed to make sure we are compliant with
Bday card for my step dad...his bday isn't til boxing day but i already had my more "guyish" stuff out from our neighbours card. I dont know if you have them in the states but here we have these cakes called "King Dons" (they could be from there for all I know lol). Anyway Don cut the label out of it and stuck it on the fridge as a joke and it's been there for about 5 years since. LOL. He gets a real kick out of it when you play into it. And they are little golf ball brads though after I put them on like my husband suggested he says "nah, they don't look as good as I thought" argh...lol
A more funky one for Wayne's niece Beth who's turning 12...plus she loves browns and pinks together
For my niece Cassidy ..I was really stuck with both niece cards...there was no rhyme or reason cuz nothing was coming to me...so I just started sticking things on and hoping for the best. lol
And last but not least one for my friend Carol-Ann
Thanks for looking

Wow! What a great way to spend a holiday. And lasagna wins over turkey any day in my book.
I think my favorite is Cassidy's card, but they are all so neat in that you personalize them so well. That will mean a lot to each recipient!! Like it's cool that you used tools for your neighbor's card and the "King" Don card sounds like he'll love it. We don't have those cakes here...are they for a special holiday or what?

Those are all so great!! Funny that your licensor wasn't a dragon. One of my old good friends does that for a living in St. Louis area, and she is soooo not a dragon. She's so nice and quiet and sweet. And I think she too works extra hard to help the newbies along. Hoping you get going soon!
I too love brown and pink. So hard to pick a favorite, but I really love how you used tools for your neigbhor too. Where do you get all those little designs? Do you have a cricut or do you prebuy stuff like that? Very neat!!

Karen, great job! They are all wonderful, but I think I like the Licenser's card best
