Copying most of this from my blog entries about it so you can see too. The kids really loved it, and the two adults who have seen so far (in person) have been impressed.
I've been wanting to do these hearts for days, but just haven't had the time. This is the first one, I hope to get the rest done tomorrow so that I can decorate the fake ficus tree with heart ornaments. It's gonna look great!
I have to confess that this wasn't my idea to start with. Craft Gossip (love that site!) linked to this great tutorial on making photo heart ornaments. And so, yes, I will be making hearts with photos of my kids too. And I'll share pictures here when I'm done. Oh, and I got the printable that I used for this particular heart here - I also printed it larger and put it in a frame. LOVE IT!

I'm back as promised to share photos of my Valentine's heart tree. I spent a couple of hours on Sunday making all of the hearts, and I'm quite pleased with how they turned out. I had them in a cool pyramid while I was working on them. Wish I had my camera then, it would have made a neat picture.
First, I have to share my favorite photo of the day. Jack is checking out one of his photo hearts on the tree.
Last, but not least, the treats. I also had candy bars for Rich and I - I printed off a fun Valentines wrapper for each, but I didn't take a photo. I didn't design the wrapper, and didn't think to photograph the bars.
I hope to get back to scrapbooking this week!!!
