Need an idea... Updated with pic...

Hi ladies.... I need some ideas.... While we were in the OR for my c-section for Kayley, one of the nurses wrote down on a paper towel all of Kayley's stats so DH could share them with all of our family members who were waiting anxiously in the waiting room. I want to preserve this special piece of paper, but am not sure how to. Any ideas? I want to scrap it along with her pro-hospital picture.

Here is the picture:

Can we see the piece of paper? You can cover up her name if that is on there but as far as the size of it. Then i can give you an idea or a sketch.

Yes, that would be GREAT! I need to scan it and then I can share it! I will try and get to it after dinner! Thanks in advance!

You know what is so funny, I can come up with ideas for others in a sec or draw up a sketch out of nowhere but then when I come to myself I get stuck.lol I think I 2nd guess myself too much.

Our nurse wrote all the stats on something like that too and DH took a picture of it, just think it is funny that we both had that.

I think it is just great that they did that for us. Every time I look at it memories and feelings come flooding back.

First, it's a paper towel right? Don't they disintegrate after a while? I would buy some achivers spray (or something like that) that preserves it. I love your idea of scrapbooking such a memorable part of your delivery day! I don't know how, but I'd just put it front and center (or the most noticible item on the page), with maybe a small pic or two of her getting weighed or something. I would include the journaling you told us, as that is what makes it so special too! Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sorry just got back home. Okay what about something like - Not just your ordinary (SP?) piece of paper. You can use that as a title to draw your viewers to the paper and not just the picture. I will draw a sketch up and try to scan it just give me about 5 min.

UGH! My scanner is not working so bare with me here is my idea. Center a 4x6 matted pic on 11x11 pattern paper glue down pattern paper to plain cardstock 12x12 so there is a solid border. Add hearts that are stiched or use stickers to top left. Split title on top left of pic and bottom right add hearts rather than 3 ... to ending of title. Place paper towel at left of pic but on a slight slant. You could even chalk the edges of the paper towel if you are paper. Just an idea don't fel bad if you don't like it Smile
