Hi ladies! I thought I'd introduce myself and jump right in if I may. My name is Megan and I'm 23. DH is Joe and he is 27 (turns 28 March 27). We are expecting our first child in about a week or so. My mom is a big scrapbooker and I've tried to jump the train many times but failed (be it my lack of any skill related to organization or simply not really thinking anything up to this point is worth being documented in such a precious form). Needless to say, the birth of Paxton (It's a BOY) is something that I want to have a timeless record of to pass on to him one day. My mom waited and has had years and years and years and years to catch up and I don't want to fall into that boat. This being said I have done one random ultrasound page (with the few supplies I have) and plan on going to the store tomorrow to pick up a few more things and get to work on his life up to the birth. I'm not doing a pregnancy book and then a baby book...I'm combining the two. I only did one page of my two page spread so far so when it is completed, I'll post pics of it. I hope to get some ideas and maybe share a few by hanging out over here!

hi and welcome to the board
can't wait to see your work
congrats on the baby--not much longer to go
Welcome Megan and congratulations on your baby boy!! I can't wait to see your work. I did the same and combined my pregnancy (only 2 pages) and his 1st year together. I'm glad I got into scrapbooking so I can display his pictures some other way other than just in a photo book! I hope this board will instill some inspiration and give you ideas.....
Hi Megan - welcome to the board!
We're close in age (I'm 24), and I'm expecting my first next month! I just love your signature - that's too funny. I hope you're feeling well, and that you have a good labor and delivery. I bet you are feeling very ready!
Glad to see you around here, and I can't wait to see some of your work!
Hello and WELCOME! Congrats on your baby boy! It won't be long now. You should get lots of inspiration from this board...I know I do.

you are so wise to start now. I played catch up, and that was hard. And my son was about 8 months when I started (but then I was really behind for a couple of years).
almost 6 years later, and I'm finally caught up! I have a January layout to do, and that's the farthest behind I am. whoo hoo! (if you don't count my professional picture albums, which I don't, because they're just a "nice to have" thing).
Anyhow, I babbled a lot about me but I really just wanted to welcome you to the board, and to say that it's great that you're starting now.
I did a lot of layouts when my youngest was napping as a newborn (and her siblings were in daycare during my maternity leave). So you can get a lot done while he sleeps (after you catch up on recovering from the unheaval of adding an infant to your life )
