New digi LOs - need help

Not quite happy with these and need suggestions. Especially with First Bath - it needs some sort of pazzazzing. Thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! I'll stick with the 2nd one, but you're right on the 1st - it was washed out. I played and played with the kit I was using for it and decided it just wasn't working. I found another kit and now I really like this page a whole lot more. What do you think? Is it too busy?

Both seem fine to me! I sure like them! The colors are just perfect on the second one! BTW, I was wondering where you had his hair cut? I need to take Kayson for his first haircut and that sure looked like a "kid-friendly" place.

I would also add shadows to the elements to make them more realistic looking. Otherwise, they're adorable!

Overall I really, really like your layouts. The only suggestion I can make on the first one is to maybe make the background paper a little darker so that the other elements pop a little more, especially the "mat" with the pictures.

There's actually a freebie online called "Splish Splash" it has a rubber duckie and bubbles and some fun stuff like that. Let me look in my files and see who makes it. That would make an adorable addition. But other than that, they are adoreable.

I think they look great, although I do like the idea of a darker paper on the first one, and some drop shadows on the pictures would make them stand out more. They are really cute though!

I agree, the top one just needs to either be a larger pic or more pics I think. Also, I think a darker paper would be good for the first one too. I LOVE the haircut one as is!

I was wondering where you were! I knew you had to be doing some LOs!

The first one- I think you have got some great suggestions.

The second one- I LOVE the colors and everything about it! Look at how much he has grown since the pics you just posted on Feb 06!

Updated at top (does anyone know how to edit the title of the post? I tried, but it didn't seem to stick.) Thanks for all the suggestions, girls!

WOW - I love the way that you reworked that first page. Where did you find all those elements?

It's a place call Cool Cuts for Kids. coolcuts4kids.com And they do adult hair too, so if the DH is looking shaggy, you can send him along too!

Thanks! I totally love that kit. It's "Washing Instructions Included" from DigitalScrapbookPages.com. http://www.digitalscrapbookpages.com/digitals/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5336

I didn't see this earlier, so missed your plea for help. Wink But I love what you did with the remake of the bath page. And the haircut page is adorable, probably because you had terrific shots to work with of that cutie pie!
