New here!

Hello ladies - I have been scrapbooking for years now but only joined with my last pregnancy. I posted a few pages that I did this weekend (the first time I have scrapped since my daughter was born 3 months ago) and they suggested I post them over here so I guess here goes.

Oh and before you look at them, my daughter was born with a heart defect and had to have open heart surgery at 5 days old. So you will see a few wires and tubes and such. If that bothers you, please do not continue.

Please let me know what you think:

Welcome! I'm so glad you came over to share with us. I hope you will post with us more in the future.

Your pages are beautiful. I think it is touching that you chose to do those pages with pictures from those days. I have a friend that won't use the pictures when her preemie was in NICU and I think that is sad, it is all part of the precious memory of your little girl. Great job, she is beautiful.

Glad to see you have came over here. I might have missed your update on june 08 but did the story on your daughter air on tv yet? Oh and by the way I am so glad you used her nicu pics and from what I know from the gals on this board the pics are not bothersome at all.

Yes the story did air. Here is the link for it so that all you ladies can see it.

Just a quick explanation for those who do not know. My daughter was born in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cincinnati Children's hospital because they were afraid she would need to have a septostomy right after birth to keep her alive until her Open heart surgery. She did in fact need to have this done. She actually coded and would have died had she not been born where she was. so let me know what you think of the story.

Wow, that's a touching story! I think it's wonderful that you have "documented" it. How's she doing now? Your LO's are great. Can't wait to see more from you!
