Here's some pages I have been working on
this is from a daycare I worked at before moving to England ...the page was going to be in the brown challenge but I didn't think it was right since I have to blur all the info out. lol

meeting Sarah and family (Uropachild)
You've been busier than me this weekend! what a treat for us!!
1. You should still enter this page! It's perfect for the Brown theme. Which cartridge did the monkeys come from, or are they even a Cricut cut? They are just too cute. I have Animal Kingdom, but the monkeys aren't nearly that cute.
2. Love how the ornaments are the photos "frames" and the bulbs are the title. Very creative!
3. Your handwriting is just amazing. I'd never get my titles and journaling perfectly straight like that. not in a million years.
4. Love the paper! And keeping this page simple allows the paper and pic to shine.
5. Good mix of different shades of colors...not something I'd have thought of, but I love it. The swirls on the journaling block finish it nicely too. Very cute!
6. Just love it! The picture, the journaling, the moment you captured...everything is what makes me love scrapbooking.
7. Probably my fave of this group, because it is so YOU. You always make me smile with your cheerfulness and kindness and this page is just happy.

Wow Karen those are great and you have been one busy busy woman. I haven't even looked at your second post yet but you are making me feel rather inadequate .
The monkey one is perfect, like Charys said I hope you enter it into the borwn challenge bc it is really good. That one of meeting the Nelson's really fits Sara's personality IMO with the red and polka dots, you captured the feeling well.
Love the Christmas one too, I remember you said we had both done ornament ones with photos like that.

Love the monkeys on the first one. So cute!

These are awesome! Honestly, they are all so good I don't know which is my fav. VERY good use of your papers with the candy corn and Christmas tree background. But I'm loving the Frightfully Delightful title!
I like all of them! Oh, and def enter the brown one in the challenge...it is very cute!
wow, and you have ANOTHER THREAD?! That's awesome that you've been so busy. I think you should still enter your brown layout, it's cute! I am LOVING all of the daycare layouts, I think it's so great that you capture all of that. Do you show the families? And I love the one featuring you, perfect!
Charys, The monkey cut is from Everyday Paper Dolls...I sqealed in delight on Christmas when I was looking through it with Wayne and saw the adorable zoo animals at the back. lol. Let me know if anyone wants any
Gwen, I show the parents from time to time...I am actually trying to get the boko put together so I can show them all at once(I bought the book but still have loose pages). I want stuff in order and still have a few old pages to scrap so I am waiting before I fill it. I scrapped one page that one family in particularly loved and since it was just their kid on it I said yes when they asked if they could borrow it and copy it....well they gave it back to me with the corners all mangled with not so much as even an explanation! I was not impressed and since then I have been hesitant to show pages for fears they will want to copy more. lol. (and I refuse to spend my time and money copying my work for them. We do a TONNE more than other daycares already. lol)...I do make them their own little things from time to time ...and email them the photos I scrap if their kid is in it...that's about as far as I will go.
I am super stoked though because Trinity's Mom is paying me to make her daughter a scrapbook! Yippee! She is paying for all the supplies as well as for my time and efforts...and she also traded talents with me recently...I made her the 9 invitations she needed for Trin's birthday and she is cutting and streaking my hair for free! What a deal hey!? Can you believe she was still trying to pay ME? LOL!
(man I can talk.......LOL!)
Trinity's mom sounds like she really understands the work involved in what you do with the scrapbooking. That other family, not so much. I'm sorry they mangled the page. If they want more copies, then maybe they should give you the money to make the copy for them ...
And I want pictures of your hair when it's done!
LOVE that first one Karen! What is that material in the corners, it looks like bark! Stunning!!! They are all super good though! Love that Trinity's mom is paying you, that will be fun and profitable. Can't beat that!
