    Default Now what?

So obviously I joined far too late to get in on the VC. You ladies did an awesome job...I checked out the recap thread. I loved all your work!

So now what? I mean the VC is over. So what happens on a normal weekly basis. Does everyone just work on whatever they are working on and post it?

Oh and how many people go to actual crop events? Once a month I go to a crop night at a local church. And now I have started one at my church and am hoping to have one once a month there too! How do you get ready for the crops? I am so bad...I just load up almost all my supplies and take cuz I never know exactly what I want to use for what I am doing LOL!

We post challenges each month. Usually 2- a technique challenge and another one. We also have card swaps.

Otherwise- yes, we work on our own and post what we've done. We also post half-finished projects that we might need suggestions on.

I used to go to crops about one every 1-2 months. It's now getting to be once ever 3-4 months.

PS. Monthly challenges are just for fame and glory.

Also, you can still participate in the VCs. You're just not eligible for prizes anymore. I will go back and use these challenges as inspiration for awhile.

Well, now I take a few days and try and recover from all this scrapping....

Actually, there are still two challenge stickied at the top. One is due by tomorrow, winner chooses the next challenge. The other is due next week. You should hop in and do one of those (if not both ).

I have four kids, and it gets crazy trying to find solid time to scrap ... so I work on what I can. We tend to do the VCs about once every 6-8 weeks. I used to do crop nights, both at my house and at the local scrapbook store. But the two friends I used to always crop with moved away and the store closed. So I just work on what I can on my own. But when I would pack up to crop, I'd actually plan my layouts before going and then pack accordingly. I used to pack everything, but it got to the point where I had way too much scrapbooking stuff so I had to figure out how to limit it.

    Glad you're here!

Yep, you just work whenever you want from your home (or wherever) and share your work, chat, whatever. I tend to get scrapbooking done in little spurts in the evenings or when Kayson is coloring/reading/etc.

I haven't cropped with my girlfriends since before Thanksgiving IRL. We can never set down a time where all three of us don't have something going on. I'd love to start doing it again every two weeks like we were.

So glad you joined us! Can't wait to get to know you better and see your work.
