    Default October Technique Challenge

For this Challenge I thought it would be fun to go back to the basics. Sometimes the most stunning pages are those containing few embellishments/papers, etc. Looking back at Kayson's scrapbook this year my favorite pages were the ones I didn't overdo.

So...here's your challenge, create a "Simple" Scrapbooking Page.

    1. Create a layout using a maximum of only 2 types of embellishments (i.e. flowers, ribbon, buttons, etc.) and a max of 1 patterned paper. Solid cardstock/background paper doesn't count as your patterned paper.

    2. Your new layout must be submitted by October 31st.

    3. Disable your siggy when posting please.

I get so carried away with embellishments and papers at times, that I look forward to sticking to Simple Scrapbooking on this challenge!

    This should be really interesting.

When you say types, does that mean if you pick flower and button you can use more than one of each of them?

You can use as many as you want, but they've got to be the same type of flower. Like if you pick two different types of flowers, then that counts as both. You can use more than 2 flowers though. Or more than two of the same type of button, etc. I don't even know if I'm making any sense??

Thanks Sadie! Of course you can use it. It will be perfect for a layout you can do in a few months
