If you have me as a FB friend, you'll have seen lots of posts from me throughout the day.
We have friends who are missionaries in Haiti very close to the epicenter of the earthquake that hit there. The denomination I pastor in has 17 missionaries in Haiti. 3 are unaccounted for. 1 one of those still missing is our friend Jeanne. The house/office that several of our missionaries lived in collapsed. Her husband Jack was dug out of the debris after about 6 hours of work. He is being life flighted to a military base along with another woman from the same house.
We are heartsick for our friends. Prayers would be appreciated!
update 1-13 around 9 pm
We have heard from our bishop that our friend Jack and another girl were taken to a US army hospital and are stable. The other 3 missionaries (including Jeanne) remain unaccounted for.
We had others that we were praying for that have been located, though! A girl from our area here in PA talked to her mom for a few minutes. Our friends and their family that live outside the city also were able to post on their website that they (and all their teachers/students at the school where they teach) were okay.
Thanks girls for your prayers!

Prayers for them all.
ETA: Hmmm, half my post vanished. I was trying to say that we will be praying for your church family, friends, and all those that this has affected. How tragic. I pray that you soon will hear and make contact with them and they are just not able to contact anyone right now.
I am so very sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend. I can not imagine who scary this time is for you all. Please let us know when you hear something.
