School was canceled last Friday. And last Wednesday. And they had off last Monday for a teacher work day. And now no school all week plus they have off Monday for President's Day.

They're forecasting another 10-20 inches of snow for tomorrow. Officially we got 26" over the weekend, but I'm thinking we got a little bit more than that. It's insane.

Those are really great Valentine's!! Biggrin Nice!

Regarding having all the kids home....I don't remember how this came to be but it has worked for us for over a year lol
This is a little thing we do to keep 7 kids in good spirits and all in one area for at least half an hour or so....we get out all the little plastic animals and a timer....we draw a name out of a hat for who goes first and the rest sit on the couch and be the "audience"...whoever's turn it is lines up all the animals on the coffee table and does a little show for the others for however long you choose to set the timer for....here we do 3 or 4 minutes ....they say the most rediculous things with these animals and try to make everyone laugh ...for instance, last time we did it Ryan takes a lion and makes it say to the donkey "can I ride on you please?" Donkey:nope... Lion:come on, I said please... Donkey: I'm thinking, I'm thinking.....okay fine, hop on
Lion hops on and Ryan makes the donkey say "what on earth?! You weigh a tonne! How many bowls of cereal did you eat for breakfast? A thousand? Sheesh! And lay off of the Doritos dude!!! Let's work out together...and a one and a two (and pretends they are doing aerobics)...even I was laughing my head off...each animal always ends up getting booted off "stage" (table) for one reason or another which makes the kids laugh like crazy and they make their way down the line until the timer goes....then it's someone else's turn and that person goes into the audience...I can't even tell you how busy and cheerful this keeps them...because they come up with the most hilarious things...I don't know if I explained that very well...maybe I should do you a video of me doing it. HAHA
Anyway, it works best if you are sat there laughing too but if you think about it, it's still sort of a break because there is no screaming, arguing, or hurting each other for a glorious 30 minutes. lol

Awww, sweet valentines! Jordan and Andrew did AWESOME jobs! Too bad there's no party on Friday, boo! Hopefully, they'll have one on Tuesday to make up for it.

Great Valentines!!! I love how your older two helped create their own! Smile

Since they are missing school this week will they cancel your Feb vacation?

Sounds like you may need a nice weekend all to yourself after all this time of no school! Your DH is home right?

well, thankfully he's back from his work travel. he went into work today but is going to try to work from home the next two days. however, that means I have to try to keep the kids out of his way when he's really trying to get stuff done, which can be a challenge. I'm hoping to get them to make birthday cards for their grandma tomorrow. cross your fingers!

Those valentines turned out fab! Bummer about school being cancelled though. I thought T was going to have to stay home from kinder today and I almost panicked lol. I can't imagine having 4 home for a whole week. Good luck! Smile

Having a house full of kids is a challenge. This is why I'm up at the crack of dawn every day, to get a bit of time to myself. Smile Sorry to hear life is hard for you right now. Hang in there.

Love the valentines though. Austin and Andrew would get along beautifully!! He is a HUGE pokemon fan...has like over 1000 cards, No joke!! Smile
