First, thanks Trina for the hint on how to get the right size for my desktop. I made this desktop today (edited from a 12x12 I made ealier):
This second one is a page I made from my CT (Garden Girl Designs) using her new kit, Ahoy Matey.
These last two are from July 4th. I love how they turned out. I enjoy contrasts.
I love the last two lay outs!! The blue is just great with the silver stars.
And the desktop is just adorable!

I have to agree, your July 4th layout is fantastic! It's something I've been envisioning on a layout so I was really surprised to see this. I can't quite get the results I've wanted, so you may be seeing me lift you soon. The pirate ship page is adorable too!

Your QP is adorable! I might have to go look at that kit.
Your 4th of July double is awesome! I love the frames, clusters, and accents you picked. The black flourishes look good on the blue.

Carrie - yes, I think she's using it for the wallpaper on her computer.
I love that desktop, so pretty! Great QP as well, and I love the double-pager, I never do them but I always like them. You always get so many pics on a page, I need to steal your creative brain for a day to get out of my 1-pic-per-page habit.
