I made my first paper bag album!!! It was alot of fun to make.
And the tags that go inside the bag openings on the sides, top 3 are envelopes with a card inside to journal on.
Thanks for letting me share.
Cool! I love it!! I want to do something like that, but I have no clue where to even start. Did you do that in a class or did you do it on your own?
WAY COOL!!!!!!!!!!! I'M LOVING IT!!!
Oh that's so cute!! Aren't they fun??
I did it on my own but with instructions, it was very easy to make heres the instructions I used but I didn't sew the bags together.http://scrapbooking.about.com/library/weekly/blpaperbagscrapbooks.htm
You can google paper bag album and find other instructions too.
That's so fantastic!! Thanks for sharing it. Now you'll make me want to make one.
WOW WOW WOW
It's times like these when i wonder if I should even bother with my scrapping ROTFL everyone else seems to have so much more talent! You did an amazing job! I am off to look at the instructions & see if I can figure them out. That looks incredible!
christy.. you are scrap crafter pro!!!! that is such a great idea!! any other scrap crafts up your sleeve?!
I didn't come up with the instructions/idea myself, I'm not that crafty, lol.
Thank you for all the comments!!
Awesome! I really like how you used a variety of patterned papers!
That is really neat. I've never seen anything like it. Did you make it for someone for something?
Yeah and believe it or not I used all scraps!!
I made it for my sister, for her little boy's pictures.
That is one CUTE idea! That would be a perfect gift for someone who is having a baby! I LOVE it! TFS!
I LOVE it!!!!!!!! so awesome!!!!
wow, Christy, that's terrific!!!! how long did it take you?
I started it yesterday afternoon, I punched the holes in for the spine and then had to stop because Kaylee got up from her nap, then it only took me about 1 hour to cut, adhere the papers, and tie the spine with ribbon. Then today I added the tags, envelopes, ribbons, inking and stickers. It prob took 2 hours give or take. It was a very easy project and a great way to use scraps that are just sitting around. The only bad thing is the paper bag is not acid-free, where ever I read it said to make sure you don't put your original pictures into the album.
So very cool! What a great gift idea!
Now that is really cute. Great idea!!!
Really awesome Christy!!
You chose fabulous papers and colors to use!
I love it! You did a great job and I passed on the instructions to a friend who teaches 1st grade. I thought that would make a neat memory book for her kids.
