What do you do and why do you prefer it to the other?
I actually just started scrapping about a year ago. I love doing it. I did my first sb in a weekend and never looked back. It's messy and expensive, but I love seeing the finished product and knowing that I created that. I made a mess and got glue all over my fingers, paper scraps everywhere and a finished product that I am the artist of.
Besides that I don't have any digital programs.
Digital for me.
I started that way b/c I could download sooooo much stuff for free! I probably spent several months downloading in my spare time before I even scrapped a page.
I honestly don't have space or a budget that would allow for paper scrapping. To start in with digital I spent $30 on a program (only to discover that I liked one I already had better! LOL I use the newest version of PrintShop. Someday I'll have enough $$ to get PhotoShop). I also like that I can tinker with a LO so much more than if I were doing it in paper. I like to mess with lots of colors and elements. So I re-arrange a LO a billion different times. And digital lets me do and re-do (and save!) as much as I like.

I prefer paper because I love to get my supplies out, cut paper, create (even if that translates "to make a huge mess"), glue, use ribbons, different embellishments, collect items, etc. It's a hands-on experience for me and it's taught me that I do have a creative side.

I started out as a paper scrapper many years ago, but have been doing digi since January of this year. My DH bought me a program for Christmas and I love it since I DON'T have to make a mess to scrap! LOL! With my DD I just don't have the time or space to paper scrap right now. Maybe when she is older I can paper scrap more.

I used to paper scrap, but i just dont have the time or the room for it anymore. And i make such a mess, i hate cleaning it up. lol once we buy a house and I can have my own craft room i'll get back into it. But even then i'll probably make more room for my sewing.
I've been digi scraping and i love love love it!!! NO MESS! and i can make a LO in 15min! lol
I started put paper scrapping and I still love it ... but I am a digital addict now. Cooper is 6 months old and I only get little snippets here and there throughout the day. It is so much easier for me to walk away from a digital layout when she needs me and then pick back up again later.
I paper scrapped several years ago and completed 1 1/2 books, but it was just such a pain to get all the stuff out every time or leave it out as a mess. When Andrea was a newborn, our old photographer showed me a program for simple digital scraping so I started looking into it. I downloaded the free trial of the one she liked, but I didn't really like it. For Christmas, I asked for a program and got two different ones. It was wonderful to be able to sit and breastfeed Andrea and scrapbook at the same time. I became very addicted and have been digital for a year and a half now, although a lot of that beginning time was not productive.
I like touching all the fun supplies...and buying them...
I'm a paper scrapbooker. I love the creative process and challenge. I agree with it just being a feeling! I also like buying the supplies. Add to that, I spend so much time on the computer for work (and preg.org) that I don't feel like spending more time on it.
I do want to make a digital album for the grandparents for x-mas. I love that you can produce extra copies!
