Okay so I took pics of my process when I made my 2nd wreath. Here you go!
First, you are going to need (I'm guessing here) about 300 1"X6" strips of paper. Fold them in half and staple them.
You will also need a foam wreath. This one was 14" and it was square. I wanted it round so I took a steak knife to it (probably not the best) and rounded the two top edges.
Here is my wreath and all my paper loops
Hot glue your first row of loops onto the wreath
I overlap mine about 2 inches or so and you just keep going
Repeat a bazillion times to cover the wreath
I cut two 3 1/2" snowflakes on the cricut and heat embossed them with iridescent powder. Put the end of my ribbon between them and glued them together.
I just eyeballed how long I wanted my ribbon to be by how the snowflake was hanging. Then I glued it to the back of the wreath in a loop.
Ta-Da! That's it!
Wow Lena! Thank you so much for posting this! It looks like it took forever to make, but it's soooo pretty. I really want to do one now.
